Kayaking
Paddle along the coast line like a local with your own kayak. Pass fisherman in traditional dugout canoes and larger sailing dhows trading between the island of Pemba and mainland Tanzania as they come and go along the Wasini Channel morning to evening.
Catch the tides right and you can stop along the shore to explore tidal pools and snorkel on the edges. Dolphins often pass through the channel in the early morning as they go back out to sea and you can paddle right along side them on the Wasini Island side of the channel.
Experienced kayakers can cross over to Wasini Island at low tide for a stroll along the island's shores for a unique close up view of the coastal forest and the largest concentration of Baobab trees in Kenya.
We have single and double Kayaks and a guide is always available to accompany you.
